HATZILU B'NAI MITZVAH PROGRAM

1. COLLECT: Organize a food drive at a location such as a school or local grocery store. Or ask friends and family to bring donations to the Bar Mitzvah celebration.

2. DELIVER: The Bar/Bat Mitzvah and a parent, along with a Hatzilu volunteer will deliver food packages to Hatzilu clients.

3. TEACH:  Each student is encouraged to discuss their Mitzvah project at their synagogue and school, motivating others to follow his lead.

4.  DONATE:  B’nei Mitzvah and their families are encouraged to make a financial donation to Hatzilu from a portion of their gifts.

A representative of Hatzilu or a representative from the synagogue will present a certificate at the service that recognizes the Bar/Bat Mitzvah for their mitzvah work.
