"I am just barely getting by financially. My company downsized, and as one of the youngest and newest members of the firm, I was the first to be laid off. I found a new job, but it doesn't  provide nearly the income I had before. My wife is working too. We have two young daughters and are just trying to make ends meet. We've cut our expenses to the bare bone and are still struggling. Thank goodness for Hatzilu! The small amount of money they have been able to give us monthly has made all the difference!"

"I used to live in a house that had a bedroom with a king sized bed. That worked well for me, because I suffer from Huntington's Disease, which causes uncontrolled body movements. But now with my financial situation, I live in subsidized housing. The bedroom is up a winding flight of stairs. I currently sleep on a tiny twin mattress, which has no room for all my flailing, so I fall out of bed! A box spring for a larger bed won't make up the stairs here. Could Hatzilu come to my home and build something large enough to meet my needs? I'm very frail and worry about falling again and really need to get some sleep!"  Hatzilu built a large platform which accommodated a larger mattress.

"I live in a trailer park.  A very kind man from Hatzilu brings me food, which I really appreciate and need!   I just learned that they will be sending me "kosher for Passover" food this year!  I'm so happy to hear that! "

"I know that I can get very anxious at times, but that is because I am really too sick to be able to manage all my bills and worry about this. I cannot even walk anymore, because my legs are so swollen from my liver damage. I thank you so much for the monthly check that you send me! It is so very much appreciated! You have made my life so much easier! Now I can just worry about my health, and not how I will pay my bills!"

" I am a Holocaust survivor and I'm 92 years old. I live all alone and have outlived my husband's life insurance and all other funds that I had.  I am so grateful that Hatzilu is there to help!"
